          We have all grown up going to the local tailor to get measured and to use yardage to get 'mas'aab' (or masterji) to create a new suit / kurti / blouse made. The hunt for the perfect fabric with matching dupatta or piping for the blouse is the stuff of nostalgia for a lot of us now.

          Yardage / running fabric allows us to be creative in our ensembles and gives us the freedom to express ourselves by using these beautiful Indian textiles to create the perfect outfit for ourselves. 

          Indian fabrics are a treasure trove of weaves and crafts. We, at Anandi's Trunk, have a weakness for all the lovely handmade, handwoven textiles that our artisans make.
